Today the Muslims of the Commonwealth of Independent States celebrate one of the most important holidays - Eid al-Adha.  

This holiday has a very important meaning in Islamic culture, it marks the end of the pilgrimage to the sacred places in Mecca, the spiritual rebirth of man.

The main purpose of Eid al-Adha is to remind all believers about purity of thoughts, respect for others, love for neighbour, family values, which are the basis of the holy Quran.
