In the period from 5 to 8 June, the jubilee XXX International ICT Forum "TIBO-2024" was held in Minsk

On 5 June, the heads of the Communications Administrations of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications were among the first to visit the TIBO-2024 exhibition and take part in the opening of the jubilee XXX International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies "TIBO-2024".

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants and guests of the XXX International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies "TIBO-2024".

In his message, which was sent by the Head of State to the participants and guests of the forum, Alexander Lukashenko emphasised the following: "Over the three decades of its work, the forum has become an authoritative platform for demosntration of global trends, discussing tendencies and prospects in the IT sphere, facilitating dynamic movement into the digital future, capturing almost all spheres of our life. TIBO presents the best solutions and industry novelties, which will be massively distributed in the future".

The Head of State expressed his conviction that the guests and participants of the forum would appreciate the scientific and technical achievements of Belarusian developers and form new business ties.

In his welcoming remarks, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko also noted that the solutions demonstrated at the forum create the image of Belarus as an IT-country. The Prime Minister emphasised that Belarus has all the conditions for a dynamic digital transformation: the necessary legal framework has been formed, a school for training IT specialists has been created. And the developed telecommunication structure, which creates basic conditions for digital development, serves as a foundation for the introduction and effective functioning of IT solutions.

At the opening ceremony of TIBO-2024 the Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus, Konstantin Shulgan, thanked the guests and participants of the event for their interest in the event.

Then Minister of Communications and Informatisation, Konstantin Shulgan, opened the panel discussion "Digital Development. The Era of Artificial Intelligence." within the framework of the XXX International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies TIBO-2024.

The TIBO Forum is a unique platform for sharing best practices in information technologies, analysing the world's best practices of digital transformation and discussing the prospects for effective use of the latest technological trends in traditional industries.

Konstantin Shulgan, Minister of Communications and Informatisation of the Republic of Belarus, presented Alexey Borodin, RCC Director General, with the TIBO-24 Anniversary Medal.

During four days 260 participants from 15 countries presented their developments and technologies on the platform of the Minsk Arena.

The Digital Economy Forum, the Eurasian Digital Forum, the Belarusian ICT Summit, the discussion "The Era of Artificial Intelligence", the Festival of Digital Technologies, the youth forum "We are the Future of Digital Belarus" took place at the event's venues in Minsk. Related events will also take place - awarding of the winners of the contests "TIBO Internet Award", "TIBO Internet Marketing", and the International Scratch Olympiad on creative programming among schoolchildren.
