On March 11, 2024 in Yerevan, the 25th meeting of the RCC Commission on Regulation of the Use of Radio Frequency Spectrum and Satellite Orbits (RCC Commission on Radio Frequency and Satellite Orbits) and its working bodies (WG AR/VCD, WG RFS, WG RW, WG DTV) was opened in hybrid format.

Valery Butenko, Chairman of the RCC Commission on ECM and CRM, opened the meeting.

The participants of the meeting were welcomed by:

- Mr. Avet Viliamovich Poghosyan, Deputy Minister of Hi-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia.

- Mr. Alexander Kirichenko, Head of the Sector for Work with ITU, UPU and ROs of the RCC Executive Committee.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the communications administrations of the Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the International Amateur Radio Union Region 1 (IARU-R1), Viasat, Huawei, Policy Impact Partners (PIP), ITU representatives, APT regional organization, Eutelsat-OneWeb and RCC Executive Committee.

The meeting heard reports on the implementation of the decision of the joint 59th meeting of the Council of Heads of the RCC AU and the 29th meeting of the Coordinating Council of the CIS Member States on Informatization under the RCC and the main tasks of the 25th meeting of the Commission, on the results of the Radiocommunication Assembly 2023, on the results of the World Radiocommunication Conference 2023, on the results of the first session of the Preparatory Meeting for the Conference 2027 and on the results of the work of the AR/VRC WG on preparations for AR-23 and WRC-23, as well as on the structure of the working bodies of the RCC Commission on RFS and CRM and on the hands of the RCC Commission on RFS and CRM.

The Commission will continue its work on March 12, 2024. Closing of the meeting of the RCC Commission on RCC and JI will take place on March 15, 2024.
