On January 24, 2024, a meeting was held between the General Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of communications, Alexey Sergeevich Borodin, and the Minister of Communications and Information of the Republic of Belarus, Konstantin Konstantinovich Shulgan.

At the Council of Heads of Communications Administrations of the RCC, held on November 8, 2023 (Ashgabat, Turkmenistan), Minister of Communications and Information of the Republic of Belarus Konstantin Konstantinovich Shulgan was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Council of Heads of Communications Administrations of the RCC, and in the spring of this year the Communications Administration of the Republic of Belarus will receive held the anniversary 60/30th joint meeting of the Council of Heads of Communications Administrations of the RCC and the Coordination Council for Informatization of the Commonwealth of Independent States under the RCC.

The discussions focused on current issues and prospects for cooperation in the field of communications in the interests of the countries of our region and strengthening the coordination of the RCC Communications Administrations in the preparation of joint proposals, their presentation and defense during high-level international meetings held by the International Telecommunication Union, the Universal Postal Union, the Commonwealth of Independent States States and other key international organizations for the communications industry.

General Director of the RCC Executive Committee Borodin A.S. informed the Minister of CAs of the Republic of Belarus, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Heads of Communications Administrations of the RCC, K.K. Shulgan. on the preparation of general proposals of RCC communications administrations for the 2024 ITU Council session (June 04–14, 2024, Geneva, Switzerland) and the World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (October 15–24, 2024, New Delhi, India).
