On December 18, 2023, the opening of the first session of the Preparatory Meeting for the WRC-27 Conference (PSC27-1) took place in Dubai.

The above session was opened and the Director of the ITU Radiocommunication Bureau, Mario Maniewicz, and the Chairman of CPM-27, Alexander Kühn, delivered welcoming remarks.

Representatives of the communications administrations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the RCC Executive Committee took part in the work of CPM27-1.

The purpose of the first session of CPM-27 is to organize and coordinate preparatory studies for WRC-27 and the subsequent WRC based on the agenda items that were proposed by WRC-23.

The agenda included the following issues:

- Approval of the agenda;

- Review of relevant results of RA-23 and WRC-23;

- Organization of preparatory studies for the WRC-27 agenda;

- Organization of preparatory studies for the subsequent WRC (WRC-31);

- Proposed structure/content and outline of the draft CPM Report for WRC-27;

- The structure of the chapter and the operating procedure of CPM-27;

- Preparation for the second session of CPM-27.

On December 18-19, 2023, as part of the work of CPM27-1, Coordination meetings of the RCC CAs delegation at CPM27-1 were held, at which issues on the agenda of CPM27-1 were considered.
