On 14 December 2023 the 19th Coordination Meeting of the RCC Delegation at WRC-23 was held in Dubai, UAE.

The 19th Coordination Meeting was opened by Valery Butenko, RCC coordinator in charge at WRC-23.                              

At the end of the largest ITU forums, RCC traditionally invites to its meetings the leadership of the conference and of the International Telecommunication Union.

On 14 December, the ITU Secretary General Doreen Bogdan-Martin, the Chairman of WRC-23 His Excellency Mohammed Al Ramsi and the Director of the ITU Radiocommunication Bureau Mario Maniewicz all were invited to the RCC meeting.

The RCC meeting was attended by delegations from the telecommunication administrations of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan.

Doreen Bogdan-Martin, ITU Secretary General, His Excellency Mohammed Al Ramsi, Chairman of WRC-23, and Mario Maniewicz, Director of the ITU Radiocommunication Bureau, welcomed the RCC participants.

Konstantin Shulgan, Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus, and Oleg Pekos, First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, spoke on behalf of RCC.

Valery Butenko, coordinator of the RCC at WRC-23, presented gift sets of RCC stamps to the distinguished guests.

Then the RCC Coordination Meeting continued its work in the usual format.

Participants considered the results of the work of the RCC delegation at the WRC-23 for the previous day, 13 December, and the objectives for today - 14 December (Thursday).

The vice-chairmen of the Conference committees and coordinators reported on the work in the committees, resolutions adopted at the Plenary meeting.
