The President of the ITA Geneva Branch V. Sudovtsev made a speech at the regular Coordination meeting of the RCC CAs delegations at WRC-23, who informed that by the decision of the ITA Presidium, a number of ITA academics were awarded with high ITA awards for their high contribution to the promotion of national interests in the international arena.

Among them are delegates A. Borodin, N. Mukhitdinov and V. Sudovtsev, who were present at the WRC-23. The awards were presented by ITA President A. Ositis, who emphasized the well-deserved prestige and respect of the awardees both among colleagues at the national level and abroad.

A. Borodin was awarded the ITA Silver Medal, N. Mukhitdinov and V. Sudovtsev were awarded the L.E. Varakin Medals.

A. Ositis also informed the audience that the L.E. Varakin Medal was awarded to A. Gordienko, an employee of the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the UN Office for Europe and other international organizations in Geneva.

The attendees warmly thanked the awardees and wished them new success in further developing international relations and promoting national and regional interests in order to build a global information society and implement the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
