On September 21 - 22, 2023, the 45th meeting of the RCC Telecommunications and Infocommunications Operators Council and the 26th meeting of the Working Group on Information Security of Interoperable Communication Networks under the RCC TIOB were held in Minsk, Republic of Belarus.
The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Council of Telecommunications and Infocommunications Operators of RCC TIOB Petruchenya Yuri Nikolaevich.
As part of the agenda of the 45th meeting of the RCC Telecommunications and Infocommunications Operators Council, the following issues were considered:
- on the priority areas of activity of operators in the implementation of digital economy programs in the countries of RCC participants,
- on the implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation between member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the field of combating fraud on telecommunication networks,
- on the proposals of the Working Group on combating fraud on telecommunication networks,
- on the proposals of the Working Group on Information Security of Interoperable Communication Networks under the Council of Telecommunication Operators and Infocommunications of the RCC,
- on the proposals of the Working Group on the development, management and operation of communication networks under the Council of Telecommunications and Infocommunications Operators of the RCC,
- ICT statistics: overview, use, existing gaps, look at the data for the Region,
- on the convening of a new group of experts and consideration of the ITU International Telecommunication Regulations,
- on the preparation of RCC participants for the ITU World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly 2024 (WTSA-24),
- on the preparation of the RCC CAs for the ITU World Telecommunication Development Conference 2025 (WTDC-25).
With great interest, the meeting participants familiarized themselves with the presentation “On promising areas of activity of RUE Beltelecom” in the implementation of digital development programs of the Republic of Belarus.
Concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the RCC TIOB, Yuri Nikolaevich Petruchenya, thanked the RCC Executive Committee for the high-quality preparation of materials and technical support for the 45th meeting of the RCC TIOB.
General Director of the RCC Executive Committee Mukhitdinov Nurudin Nasretdinovich thanked the participants for their activity at the meeting, as well as the host party for the warm welcome and good organization of the meeting.
