On August 8, 2023, the 55/44th joint-meeting of the RCC Postal Commission, the RCC Postal Operators Board and their Working Groups was held in a hybrid format.

The meeting was opened by Nurudin Mukhitdinov, General-Director of the RCC Executive Committee.

The participants of the meeting were welcomed by:

- David Sahakyan, Deputy Minister of Hi-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia;

- Alisher Faizullayev, Chairman of the RCC Postal Operators Board;

- Novruz Mamedov, Chairman of the RCC Commission on Postal Communications;

- Araik Abrahamyan, General-Director of Haypost CJSC.

The meeting was moderated by Natalia Gordeyenko, Chair of the Working Group on the work with the UPU, Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus.

The work was attended by representatives of the communications administrations of: Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Russian Federation, Republic of Uzbekistan and full members of the RCC Council of Postal Operators - Azerpost Ltd, Belpochta RUE, Kazpochta JSC, Kyrgyz Pochtasy OJSC, Russian Post JSC, Pochtai Tojik State Unitary Enterprise, Turkmenpochta SE, Uzbekiston Pochtasi JSC, as well as the UPU IB representative Nicholas Bilhoto and representatives of the RCC Executive Committee.

The agenda for the meeting included:

- On the outcome of the Postal Operations Board and UPU Council of Administration sessions (May 1-12, 2023) and preparations for the Postal Operations Board and UPU Council of Administration sessions (Oct. 30-Nov. 10, 2023);

- Progress on preparations for the UPU Extraordinary Congress of 2023;

- On progress in implementing the UPU Regional Development Plan 2022-2025 for the Europe and Central Asia region;

- On the implementation of the Action Plan to implement the decisions of the 27th UPU Congress and the Abidjan Postal Strategy for 2022-2025;

- On the activities of the Working Groups under the RCC Commission on Postal Communications and the RCC Postal Operators Board.

The event was held in a constructive business atmosphere. As a result of the agenda items, the relevant decisions were made.

Concluding the meeting, Natalia Gordeyenko, Chair of the Working Group on Working with the UPU, thanked the RCC Executive Committee for the high-quality preparation of materials and technical support for the Commission meeting in a hybrid format.

Nurudin Mukhitdinov, General-Director of the RCC Executive Committee, thanked the host for the warm welcome and the participants for their active participation in the meeting.

Within the framework of a fruitful business program, the RCC participants with great interest visited Aipost branch and Aipost-Med pharmacy, which presented the advanced technologies of the industry development.
