On 21 June 2023, the 42nd meeting of the Working Group on Work with the ITU under the RCC Commission for Coordination of International Cooperation in Videoconferencing was held.

The Chairman of the Working Group on the Work with the International Telecommunication Union at  the RCC Commission for Coordination of International Cooperation, Alexey Borodin, opened the meeting.

Nurudin Mukhitdinov, General-Director of the RCC Executive Committee, addressed the participants of the meeting with a welcoming speech.

The event was attended by representatives of the Communications Administrations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Russian Federation, Republic of Uzbekistan, the IOSC Intersputnik, observer, and the leadership of the RCC Executive Committee.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of the Communications Administrations of the ITU Council Member-States belonging to other regional telecommunication organizations, namely representatives of the People's Republic of China, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Republic of South Africa.

The following issues were discussed at the meeting:

- Preparation of the RCC CAs for the next ITU Council Meeting in 2023;

- On the preparation of the upcoming meeting of the Terminology Standardization Committee;

- On the place, time and agenda of the next meeting of the 43rd ITU Working Group at the CIC.

Within the framework of the above-mentioned meeting, a Session for the invited representatives of ITU Member-States' Communications Administrations belonging to other regional telecommunication organizations was held.

The meeting took place in a constructive, friendly and supportive atmosphere.
