On September 29, 2020, the 38/27th joint meeting of the RCC Commission for Coordination of International Cooperation and the Working Group on work with ITU under the CCM in the mode of video conferencing took place.
The meeting was opened by the Director General of the Executive Committee of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of communications Mukhitdinov Nurudin Nasretdinovich.

Umida Rakhmatjanovna Musaeva, Deputy Chairperson of the RCC Commission for Coordination of International Cooperation, addressed the meeting participants with a welcoming speech.

The floor was then given to the Director of the Telecommunication Standardization Sector of the International Telecommunication Union, Mr. Chae Sub Lee.

The following RCC Communications Administrations took part in the 38/27 joint meeting of the RCC Commission for Coordination of International Cooperation and the Working Group on Work with ITU under the CCM: Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Russian Federation, Republic Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Also, the above meeting was attended by the management of RUE Beltelecom, Kazakhtelecom JSC, Kyrgyztelecom OJSC, BelGia and other representatives of the RCC Telecommunication and Infocommunication Operators Council.

The Chairman of the RCC Postal Commission on RCC Postal Communications Mamedov Novruz Gulu oglu joined the discussion, members of the RCC Postal Operators Board: Azerpost LLC of Uzbekiston Pochtasi JSC, experts from FGUP NIIR, Management of the ITU Regional Office for the CIS region, Management of the Executive Committee of the Regional Commonwealth in communication area and its employees.

The joint meeting was attended by Chae Sub Lee, Director of the ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector, and staff from the Sector.

The following issues were considered at the joint meeting:

- On the preparation of the RCC CAs for the ITU World Assembly for Standardization 2020 (WTSA-20);

- On the preparation of the RCC CAs for the ITU World Telecommunication Development Conference 2021 (WTDC-21);

- On the preparation of the RCC CAs for the 6th World Forum on Telecommunication / Information and Communication Technologies Policy 2021 (WTPF-21);

- On the preparation of the RCC CAs for the 27th Congress of the Universal Postal Union (UPU);

- Reports of RCC CAs representatives in the Working Bodies of the Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) and the Telecommunication Development Sector (ITU-D);

- Reports of the authorized representatives of the RCC CAs on the work in the Regional Preparatory Meetings for the ITU Conferences;

- On updating the Regulations on the procedure for nominating candidates from the RCC Communications Administrations to the governing bodies of ITU and UPU;

- On the place, time and agenda of the 39/28 joint meeting of the RCC Commission for the Coordination of International Cooperation and the Working Group on work with ITU under the CCM.

The meeting was held in a constructive business atmosphere and atmosphere. Appropriate decisions were taken on topical issues on the agenda.

Concluding the 38 / 27th joint meeting of the CCM and ITU WG under the CCM, the Deputy Chairperson of the CCM Umida Rakhmatjanovna Musaeva and the participants of the meeting thanked the RCC Executive Committee for the work done, and also wished everyone good health and success in implementing all the decisions made in this difficult time.
