August 18-20, 2020, via Videoconference

In the period from 18 to 20 August 2020, the 15th meeting of the Working Group on Radio Frequency Spectrum management of the RCC Commission on Regulation of the Usage of the Radio Frequency Spectrum and Satellite Orbits (RFS SO) was held in the videoconferencing format using the Zoom videoconference service.

Technical support for the videoconference was provided by the FSUE "NIIR".

The meeting was attended by 37 representatives of the Communications Administrations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The meeting was held under the leadership of the acting Chairman of the WG on the RFS, head of the department for the regulation of the usage of the Radio Frequency Spectrum of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Makhkamov Bakhtiyor Shukhratovich, who wished everyone fruitful and successful work.

The agenda of the meeting included the following issues and questions:

- On the preparation of the Common Table of Frequency Allocation of the RCC Member-States in a new format for submission to the RFS and SO Commission. Further work on the maintenance and automation of the Common Frequency Allocation Table of the RCC Member-States;

- On the development of a document summarizing the experience of the RCC Member-States in radio frequency support of sports events of different levels;

- On the Working Document on the regulation and use of systems for the provision of satellite and mobile communications and broadband Internet services on mobile objects in the RCC member countries;

- On the Working document containing reference materials, technical parameters and frequency bands for the deployment of LoRaWAN networks in the RCC member countries;

- On the results of the RCC Questionnaire on the current and planned implementation of 5G systems in the countries of the RCC members;

- On the development of the draft recommendations for the assessment of the electromagnetic and interference environment in the specified radio frequency bands at the point of the measurement site;

- On the development of a document on the use of communication systems in railway transport in the RCC countries;

- On amendments to the Work Plan of the WG on the RFS for 2020-2021.

The above meeting was attended by a representative of the RCC Executive Committee Head of the sector for work with ITU, UPU and RO - Kirichenko Alexander Vladimirovich.
