The meeting of the Commission on Economic Issues under the CIS Economic Council was attended by representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of interstate and intergovernmental bodies of the CIS, and also the CIS Executive Committee and the RCC Executive Committee.
Deputy General Director of the RCC Executive Committee Zorya Natalya Evgenievna spoke on the issue “On the draft Agreement on information interaction of the CIS Member-States in the field of digital development of society”.
In her speech, Zorya N.E. noted that the draft Agreement on information interaction of the CIS Member-States in the field of digital development of society was finalized with the participation of experts from relevant departments of the states, representatives of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of communications and the CIS Executive Committee.
The proposals received in the text of the document were finally agreed, related, in particular, to:
- using the term "innovation ecosystem" throughout the text of the project;
- the revision of the list of the main directions of information interaction;
- clarification of the category of information, which is not covered by the future Agreement;
- clarification of the list of ways of information interaction between authorized (competent) bodies.
The Commission on Economic Affairs at the CIS Economic Council approved the above-mentioned draft agreement and, by its decision, submitted it to the CIS Economic Council for consideration with its subsequent consideration by the CIS Council of the Governments' Heads.
