On April 25, 2025, the 48/53rd joint-meeting of the RCC Commission for the Coordination of International Cooperation and the Working Group on the Work with ITU was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic 

     The meeting was opened by the RCC Director General Alexey Borodin.

     The participants of the meeting were welcomed by:

- Bella Cherkesova, Chairperson of the Commission, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation;
- Adilet Mulyukbaev, Head of the Radio Frequency Spectrum Department of the Service for Regulation and Supervision in the Communications Industry under the Ministry of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- Cosmas Luckyson Zavazava, Director of the ITU Telecommunication Development Bureau.

     Key issues of the meeting:

     Preparations for the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-25) which is to be held in November 2025 in Baku.

     Participants discussed:

- Proposals from RCC Communications Administrations to the draft General Proposals for WTDC-25;
- Nominations from RCC Communications Administrations for WTDC-25 leadership positions and ITU-D Working bBdies;
- Results of the Regional Preparatory Meeting for CIS States.

     Results of participation of RCC Communications Administrations in major ITU industry events.

     The participants of the meeting summarized the results of:

- World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA-24) and the Global Standards Symposium 2024;
- The first cluster of meetings of the ITU Council Working Groups and Expert Groups in 2025;

     Thus, the meeting discussed the preparation of RCC communications administrations for the Postal Leaders' Forum for Europe and the CIS:

     The Postal Leaders Forum for Europe and CIS States, on the margins of which will also be held a meeting of the RCC Commission on Postal Communications, the Postal Operators Board and their Working Groups, as well as the first meeting of the Council for the Publication, Distribution and Collecting of Postage Stamps - the Marka Council; ITU Council session (June 2025, Geneva).

     At the kind invitation of the Communications Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, the next joint meeting of the RCC Commission for the Coordination of International Cooperation and the ITU Working Group will be held in Issyk-Kul in August 2025, according to the good tradition already established.
