Meeting of the BRICS Working Group for the Research of the Competition Issues in the Digital Markets

     RCC Deputy Director General participates in the meeting of the BRICS Working Group for the Research of the Competition Issues in Digital Markets in the BRICS+ Expanded Format

     The meeting is held as part of the program of events of the International Conference - Extended Meeting of the Board of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia.

     The meeting is part of the program of the International Conference - Extended Meeting of the Collegium of the FAS Russia. Its participants discuss how:

- antimonopoly authorities use AI in their work
- the use of AI by companies harms competition
- develop antimonopoly regulatory approaches against the background of AI development
- solve specific cases of antimonopoly law violations committed using AI technologies

     In her speech, Maria Bolshakova, RCC Deputy Director General, spoke about the model law “On Artificial Intelligence Technologies”, the work on which was carried out within the framework of the Expert Council of the CIS IPA - RCC, touched upon the prospects for the development of recommendations on certain aspects of the AI systems and meta-universes functioning in the perspective of three years, and also highlighted a number of topical issues of AI systems development for antimonopoly lawmaking.
