RCC Deputy Director General participated in the 44th meeting of the Headquarters for jointly investigations of violations of antimonopoly legislation of CIS Member-States

     Today, April 22, 2025, Moscow hosted the 44th meeting of the Headquarters for joint investigations of violations of antimonopoly legislation of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Member-States.

     During the meeting of the Headquarters, which was chaired by the Head of the Headquarters, State Secretary - Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia (FAS Russia) Sergey Puzyrevsky, a number of issues relevant to the work of antimonopoly services of the CIS Member-States were considered.

     The meeting, in particular, reviewed the progress of the Headquarters' work on studying the impact of artificial intelligence on the state of competition in the markets of the CIS member states, as well as its use in the work of antimonopoly authorities - this area of work is carried out by the Headquarters in cooperation with the Regional Commonwealth in the field of communications (RCC).

     Maria Bolshakova, RCC Deputy Director General, took part in the related discussions and presented, among other things, the work of the Expert Council of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS). - the RCC in terms of model lawmaking related to AI technologies and noted a number of aspects of development of technologies and deployment of AI systems that could become subjects of antitrust regulation at the regional level.
