
On March 13, 2025, as part of the international science festival ComInFest-2025, the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (MTUSI) hosted a round table “Export of Russian IT Education”.
The event was opened by the Rector of MTUCI Sergey Erokhin. Pavel Shevtsov, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo, and Alexey Borodin, RCC Director General, addressed the participants of the round table with welcoming words.
The key issues of the discussion were:
- Export of Russian IT education
- Social and cultural adaptation of foreign students5
- Educational practice of foreign students in Russian IT companies
- Overcoming language barriers and the need to improve language training programs
- Educational practice of foreign students in Russian IT companies
During the event, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of African countries in Russia, First Secretaries of CIS embassies in Russia, heads of Russian Houses, rectors of leading foreign and Russian universities and representatives of major IT companies exchanged experience in an atmosphere of lively dialogue, discussed strategies for the development of international cooperation in education and issues of promoting Russian IT programs abroad.
Rector of the Belarusian State Academy of Communications Andrey Zenevich, Chairman of the RCC Board on Scientific and Technical Policy, Personnel Training, Work of Educational and Scientific-Museum Centers of the History of Communications (Board “Science”), was one of the speakers of the round table.
Alexey Borodin also took an active part in the discussions of the round table, in particular, in terms of discussing the issues of overcoming language barriers and the need to improve language training programs for students, he noted the expediency of using the mechanisms of cooperation within the framework of the International Organization for the Russian Language, including the development of educational programs.
At the end of the round table, a solemn ceremony of signing a memorandum of cooperation between MTUSI and the Belarusian State Academy of Communications took place.
