On March 12, 2025, the 24th meeting of the Working Group on Development, Management and Operation of Communication Networks (WG on DMON) at the RCC Telecommunications and Infocommunications Operators Board was held via videoconference.

     The meeting was opened by Alexey Borodin, RCC Director General. The meeting was chaired by Igor Kireev, Chairman of the Working Group on Development, Management and Operation of Communication Networks.

     In the format of broad discussion the members of the group - representatives of telecommunications operators Beltelecom, Kazakhtelecom, Kyrgyztelecom, Tojiktelecom and Uzbektelecom discussed how the terms of reference and composition of the group, which has been functioning for almost two decades, can be expanded taking into account the dynamics with which the telecommunications industry is developing.

     Among the priority areas of the WG's activities for the near future were identified:

- development of regional transit projects
- implementation of AI for network management
- modernization of Data Centers taking into account energy efficiency and environmental friendliness.

     The participants of the group agreed that it is necessary to expand the range of group participants by attracting:

- domain name registrars
- equipment manufacturers
- traffic exchange point operators
- service providers
- data centers

     The meeting participants also agreed that the work of the group should:

- cover the issues of construction, operation and future development of digital infrastructure
- unite heads and experts of technical services of operators
